PENGARUH TEMAN SEBAYA, LINGKUNGAN KELURGA DAN BUDAYA TERHADAP PERSEPSI REMAJA TENTANG PERNIKAHAN DIBAWAH UMUR
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Under the age of marriage is a problem that happened on some regions in Indonesia. This condition have an impact on the fertile period which is longer, higher complication of deliveries and also conflicts of households that triggered by immature psychological. The aims of this research was to determine the affect of adolescents’ peers, families environment and culture toward the perception of teenagers about under the age of marriage by using cross sectional design. The population research was all the adolescent girls recorded as students of 8th and 9th class in Jayakerta Junior High School in 2017 that met the inclusion criteria, covering 317 students. After calculated using formulas obtained test 2 proportion of the total sample at least as much as 92 respondents was chosen by simple random sampling.
Analysis results showed that respondents who have their peers who do not support wedding under the age had a chance to have good perception 2,632 times and respondents who have families environment does not support under the age of marriage has a chance to have good perception 2,524 times higher than the respondents who have families environment support under the age of wedding.
