DIGITALIZATION OF BIRTH DESCRIPTION THROUGH ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED ANTENATAL CARE (e-iANC)
Abstract
Background: In 2015-2019 the Indonesian birth certificate target was 85% (RPJMN), but until 2016 the achievement of children's birth certificate ownership in Indonesia was 62%. It is necessary to make a birth certificate, namely SKK issued by doctors / midwives, who are making manually (paper based). In line with the develop of e-iANC specifically for digitizing Antenatal Care ( ANC) records and reporting, the development of SKK is needed. Objective: Design a birth certificate to optimize the Electronic Integrated Antenatal Care (e-iANC). Method: Using the waterfall method with stages: 1. System Planning, 2. System Analysis, 3. System Design, 4. System Implementation. Informants were the founders and developers of e-iANC and midwives as e-iANC users. Results: Data requirements in SKK include the number of mother and father ID card, baby name, gender, time and date of birth, address, mother’s and father’s name, occupation of mother and father, weight and length of baby and type of birth. Feature’s SKK generate digitized SKK. Some of data elements in digitized SKK are accessed from the e-iANC database include the mother's ID card number, address and mother and father's name. The others need to be entered include father's ID card number, time and date of birth, sex, weight and length of the baby, and type of birth. Conclusion: The feature's SKK in e-iANC is needed by midwives to generate digitized SKK that can be accelerated the ownership of children's birth certificates in Indonesia.
